Export Sales Training Courses

TrucksE-Commerce Course (1 Day) provides delegates with a good understanding of the international sales role of e-commerce, equipment required, internet access, on line payments from buyers, when to charge VAT, B2C, B2B, B2G, EU distance selling regulations compliance, sales terms and conditions, despatching goods to buyers, preparing a brief for a website designer, and a practical group workshop exercise. The course is designed to help companies that are considering an e-commerce site or a significant upgrade to an old, poor or UK e-commerce site.

Foundation Course (2 Days) is designed to take delegates step by step through a wide range of important export topics including Incoterms, market entry methods (agents, distributors, MULs, JVs etc), terms of payment, and quotation terms and conditions to give them the knowledge and skills to understand and be able to calculate export prices and produce export quotations, in an easy to use format. This is an ideal course for those in an export sales office support role.
A Foundation course pass takes 2 days off the Certificate course.

Certificate Course (4 Days) takes delegates through the Foundation course (days 1 and 2) and then moves on to cover key additional topics including an awareness of overseas business cultures, more comprehensive overseas contracts and their contents, bid bonds and performance bonds,   seller negotiation techniques, buyer negotiation techniques, and the negotiation sequence. This course is for delegates who are required to, or aspire to, travel abroad and negotiate in a professional manner with overseas buyers to win export orders.
A Certificate course pass takes 4 days off the Diploma level qualifications.

Cargo Ship LoadingExport Sales Office Diploma Course (8 Days + 2 Days Home/Work Project) provides national recognition for office based export sales Directors, Managers and Executives who successfully complete a diverse range of short export courses within a period of 24 months. The courses provide practical export knowledge and develop skills in Planning and Managing Export activities, International Market Research, Export Sales (Certificate level), Letters of Credit and Export Documentation. and confidence to assist delegates better manage an Export Sales Office, and support others. Individual courses are taken locally wherever possible.

Export Sales Diploma Course (9 Days + 3 Days Home/Work Project) is the ultimate assessment and national recognition for experienced export sales Directors, Managers and Executives with a minimum 3 year track record of travelling overseas, negotiating and winning export orders. Training and product familiarisation is followed by an intensive period of assessing overseas enquiries, prioritising responses, producing professional export quotations and negotiating with overseas buyers. Success is measured by the ability to enquiry prioritisation, the quality of quotations sent to overseas buyers and above all, the value of export orders won. This is a demanding course for experienced, professional and successful export order winners.
